LoftyCAD (LCD) files, as well as STL meshes and triangle meshes of other types, may be imported to make a group. Select Import to Group from the File menu.

Triangle meshes will form a single volume, even if they contain disjoint parts. Coincident points and edges will be shared.

Groups made from LCD files may be ungrouped and the objects edited natively.

The final shape may be exported to an STL mesh or other triangle format. The volumes will all be unioned at this time (which is possibly a lengthy operation)

File Formats include .STL, .GTS (Gnu Triangulated Surface) and OFF (Geomview object file format)
